Steal Me plot

Fifteen-year-old Jake ends up with the seemingly perfect Tucker family in his search for his mother who has left for Montana. They, in turn, embrace him just as easily, despite his dubious past. But Jake is a kleptomaniac and can't stop. He is seduced by a woman who lives next door to the Tuckers, he courts the mother and causes the necessary unrest by getting worse and worse with the boys in the neighborhood.
