Stantsionnyy Smotritel plot
In May 1816, a stranger arrives at a small postal station. Here he meets Dunya, the postmaster's beautiful daughter, who is serving tea. The stranger, postmaster and his daughter drink tea together. Before leaving, the stranger kisses Dunya in the hall, with her permission. A few years later, the stranger ends up at the same station again. The postmaster relates that three years ago a young hussar (Captain Minsky) pretended to be sick for several days, bribing a doctor and Dunya taking care of him.
