Stand Up plot

Vera is an ordinary, party-loving, cycling, and adventurous 23-year-old woman – until she has an accident one evening on her way home after a night out. When she regains consciousness, she has one less leg. As she struggles with her new reality as a disabled person, she meets Xander, another young wheelchair user who travels around with a large group of people with disabilities and an even bigger attitude. Caught between two worlds, her able-bodied friends and Xander's new group, Vera must figure out where she belongs now or chart an entirely new path for herself.
