Eubanks, a Georgia pig farmer on the brink of losing his farm, sets out on a road trip with his huge pig Howard. While en route to the Mexico border to give "Howie" a new home, Eubanks' drinking problem begins to take its toll and throw their plans into ruin. His estranged daughter Eunice is forced to join them on their adventure. Through his devotion to Howard, Eubanks seeks to make peace with his daughter and mend their broken relationship.
