Sonny plot

Joe, the owner of a pool center, and Sonny, the son of a rich, blind woman, look alike. They meet when they go to war at the same time, and they become friends. When Sonny is seriously injured, he asks Joe to promise to take his place at home to spare his mother the grief. Joe does what Sonny asks of him and keeps up appearances when he gets home. However, he falls in love with Sonny's sister.
