Song. Die Liebe eines Armen Menschenkindes plot

After a dispute fueled by jealousy, knife thrower John has landed in an Asian harbor. There he rescues the young Chinese woman Song from the violent clutches of two libertines. He sees her as the ideal partner for his act. They begin performing together in a vaudeville theater. One day, however, John's former mistress, the stylish dancer Gloria, shows up. John needs money to win her back, so he takes part in the robbery of a mail train. Unfortunately, he loses his sight in the process…
