Son de Mar plot
Ulises moves to a small town on the coast to teach literature. There he falls madly in love with Martina, who is hypnotized by the beautiful stories he tells her. When Martina becomes pregnant, they decide to get married, much to the regret of Sierra, an admirer of Martina. When Ulises goes fishing one day, the man with his boat suddenly appears to have disappeared. Martina, left alone and desperately sad, accepts after some time to marry Sierra. After five years, Ulises suddenly reappears.
