Solange Leben in Mir Ist plot
Germany, 1914-1916. Karl Liebknecht is the only one of the 110 SPD deputies in the Reichstag to vote against the war bonds, after which he is excluded by his party leadership, who have joined the government's chauvinist policies as a member. Slander, death threats and labor bans do not hinder him, he calls everywhere - among the workers and especially among the youth - to act against the war. Forced to enlist in the military, he continues his educational work at the front and in France, while his family in Berlin is subjected to reprisals. Once back from the front, he illegally joins a preparatory mass rally for May 1 in Jena, as well as the working class day of struggle itself in Berlin. He is arrested and charged with treason. But even in court he does not give up his convictions and accuses the accusers as enemies of the people.
