Solange Du Hier Bist plot

An old gay man (Georg) and an attractive young streetwalker (Sebastian) meet regularly. While the objects of a long life are piled up in Georg's attic, Sebastian is still searching in a world from which he wants to withdraw from time to time. A friendship develops between the men that ignores the business arrangement that originally underpinned their encounters. With his patient and mild character, Georg offers a willing ear for the stories that the imaginative Sebastian dishes up and of which it is never certain to what extent they are true. In any case, a loaded past with his father comes to the fore, which makes one wonder about Sebastian's underlying motives as he lets himself be pampered by the older man. However, Georg is too enchanted by his young friend to smell danger and goes as far as possible into the world of his beloved. In order to always have the unpredictable young man with him, he keeps their conversations on tape.
