Sled Kraja na Sveta plot
During a trip to the Bulgarian region where he was raised, the Jewish professor Albert Cohen encounters his great childhood sweetheart, the Armenian Arkasi Wartanjan. Together they look back on their childhood in the 1950s, when they lived peacefully in the village with their friends from different ethnic backgrounds. This peaceful existence was disrupted by the Stalinists. They carried out all kinds of ethnic cleansing, removing Gypsies, Turks and eventually all capitalist elements from the region. Albert and Arkasi then became separated, but have always loved each other and hoped to find each other again one day.
