"She wanted to tell the truth. But they wouldn't let her."
Anna and Kevin Dunne, newlyweds and deeply in love, make it a habit to chat after work in their neighborhood cafe. One evening, Anna's attention is drawn to a noise in a corner of the cafe. To her astonishment, she sees three men brutally rape a young woman. The surprise grows when she recognizes her husband's brother in one of the rapists. In the days that follow, Anna is torn between guilt and loyalty to her husband's family, who want to keep the event within the family. However, the victim files a complaint with the police and a lawsuit is filed, which even gets television attention.
