Silence of the North plot

This film tells the true life story of drifter Walter Reamer and his wife Olive. They struggle to support a family in their struggle against the wild Canadian nature in the early 20th century. When her husband drowns, Olive has to raise her children alone. She is close to despair, but still tries to make the best of it.
