Shijûshichinin no Shikaku plot

The feudal lord Asano is forced to commit seppuku after a conflict with lord Kira. His subordinate Oishi is convinced that this was a plot by Kira. He collects 46 samurai to take revenge on Kira. Exactly one year after Asano's death, the 47 samurai desert their loved ones and family and storm Kira's castle.
