Shadow of the Cobra plot

Australian journalist Steven Carey (Michael Woods) and his wife Chris Royston (Rachel Ward) are chartered to write the biography of the feared and now convicted terrorist Charles Sobhraj (Art Malik). In preparation they have conversations with this man, who has mastered the art of manipulation so well that he talks Steven into being a victim of circumstances. Chris remains sober and realizes the danger she and her husband are in.
