Sensô to Ningen III: Kanketsuhen plot
A full-scale war breaks out between Japan and China, with the Japanese military advancing deeper and deeper into China. The eldest daughter of the Godai family marries the son of a bank manager, while the youngest daughter leaves the family because she wants to marry her brother's boyfriend. Her brother's boyfriend is then recruited by the Imperial Japanese Army. The younger son is then appointed to the Manchurian branch of the family business but secretly continues with his anti-war activities.
