Seguir Viviendo plot

Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Young Jade and Caleb lose their mother at a very young age, who is killed in an attack. Ten years later, their adoptive mother, their grandmother, is also murdered by the narcos. Because their lives are in constant danger, they have to flee. A journalist who has lost her 7-year-old son in a car accident takes it upon herself to transport them to Mexico City. There they take a plane to Canada, where they can apply for asylum. But on the way to Mexico City, the kids revolt. They prefer to stay vigil with their grandmother in the hospital.
