"Daringly takes you behind the studio gates!!!"

Unemployed private investigator Maxwell Carter takes on the job of crafty Hollywood sensationalist Nan Torr to shoot compromising photos of famous and married film director James Cameron. Nan then uses Maxwell's photos to blackmail Cameron, but the blackmail spirals out of control. Unwittingly, Maxwell is faced with murder and suicide.
