Schwester Bonaventura plot

Pouring rain surrounds an English monastery near London. In the area the water is very high and a state of emergency is declared. However, three people continue to drive from the British capital to Norwich. But when their car gets stuck in the mud, they find shelter in the monastery. The trio includes murder indictment Sarat Carn, her guard Miss Pierce and Police Superintendent Melling. Sister Bonaventura takes care of the convicted woman, whose appeal in London was just rejected and whose death sentence was confirmed. Sarah will be hanged for poisoning her brother. The nun Maria Bonaventura seems to be very interested in this case.
