Sanka plot

Sasuke worships his blind shamisen teacher Shunkin, who is also his mistress and mistress. She dominates him and makes him suffer cruel beatings. After an unknown intruder - probably one of her pupils - seeks revenge for her cruel behavior and pours boiling water over Shunkin's face, Sasuke blinds himself so he doesn't have to watch her mutilation. This sacrifice of Sasuke, in response to Shunkin's tacit wish, seals their lifelong relationship.
