Samâ Sorujâ plot
From his own filmed report on deserters and a civilian organization that supports peace, director Teshigahara looks at the lives of some American soldiers who deserted during the Vietnam War and fled to Japan. A Puerto Rican, who deserted 18 months earlier, tries to make his Utopian ideas come true. A black man, too afraid to leave his room, can no longer walk.
