Sal of Singapore plot

Sal (Phyllis Haver) is a regular at a saloon. She catches the eye of tough Captain Erickson (Alan Hale). He invites her to his boat and she assumes he's interested in her for obvious reasons, but she's wrong: it turns out that a baby has been left on board for Erickson to take care of. . However, he has 'chosen' Sal to do that in his place...
