Saila plot

Main character Saila hangs out in her desolate neighborhood in East Berlin. Abandoned flats, graffiti and neglected playgrounds determine the streetscape. To escape this reality, Saila steps into a parallel universe, somewhere in the future. It doesn't get any better: disaster and anarchy have the earth in its grip. There are reports of diseases and large-scale disasters via the radio. India and Pakistan are definitively engaged in a devastating nuclear war. Berlin has degenerated into a post-apocalyptic landscape, as witness the run-down flats and collapsed factories. Gangs of squatters and autonomous people dressed in black are in charge. Drug trafficking and violence are the order of the day, and sex has become very gory.
