Sahara Sandwich plot
Ryder is a psychiatrist who flawlessly analyzes his clients' problems, but is hopelessly alone in solving his own 'mental anguish'. One day, Sleuth, a detective, enters Ryder's practice and announces that Ryder is suspected of murdering three women. Ryder is not aware of any harm. He did receive a mysterious letter announcing a murder and Lizzy, his secretary, has also disappeared without a trace. The revelation of a new patient makes Ryder think. A verbal cat-and-mouse game ensues between Ryder and Sleuth, but it raises more questions than answers. If the murders are committed, what is the motive? And if there's no motive, could there be a suspect? Or is everything actually staged? Perhaps by Sleuth or Ryder himself?
