Rosamunde Pilcher - Liebe am Horizont plot

After her husband's death, art critic Helena Beaufort (Gärtner) craves change. She moves to her hometown of Plymouth, England, where she meets Malcolm Caplain (Horst), a promising artist. He had a relationship with his manager Daphne Winslow (Bach) for years. But even now that the couple is separated, Daphne is very jealous. She can't stand Helena and Malcolm starting a relationship.
