Ring of Fire plot
The story follows June (Jewel Kilcher) from early childhood, growing up in the mountains of Virginia, to her relationship with Johnny Cash (Matt Ross). The film highlights her path to fame from within her family of popular singers. Eventually she broke through on her own and got to perform alongside legendary artists such as Elvis Presley and perform with a large group of entertainers, who would forever influence American culture.
