Louise, a deaf-mute actress, suffers the sadism and psychological torture of her husband Yann, who is 20 years her senior. She still believes in a better future. One night she rebels with irreparable consequences. But is it Yann who killed them, or a doppelganger from a nightmare? One that she unconsciously created in response to the drama of her childhood.
