Red Roses and Petrol plot

In a haze of cigarette smoke and the smell of untouched food, Enda Doyle's (McDowell) family gathers for his wake. He was an employee of the university library, a poet, but also a scoundrel. He leaves behind a dysfunctional family with many unresolved problems and a disturbing mystery. His widow Moya tries to keep the family together, aided by her daughter Medhb. The other daughter Catherine also comes for the funeral, but it is questionable whether the only son Johnny will come.
