Princess Ka'iulani plot

"Her heart was torn between love and the future of Hawaii..."

1888: Hawaii is a paradise where civil war, fueled by rebellion and support for the United States, is on the brink of unleashing. As a result, 13-year-old Princess Ka'iulani is sent to Victorian England. Here she undergoes a strict education where honor and loyalty are taught to her. She falls in love with a young Englishman, who makes her realize that she has to stand up for her own people. She tries to talk to President Cleveland to make it clear that her people are certainly not "barbarians" as the Americans portray them.
