Mediocre.
Rather concise summary of the life of DH Lawrence. He was unknown to me, but I had of course heard of his most famous work. If Ian McKellen's portrayal is true, Lawrence was not only a writer, but also a boring little guy. But the people around him are also not very sympathetic and the theatrical way of directing does not help in any way. The film has made me a little bit wiser about Lawrence and that's about it.
