Povest o Stríbrné Jedli plot

Ondra is a boy who lives with his parents in a remote village. One day an old friend of his father's comes by. This man, Lojzek Hojgr, does a special job in the mountains: he takes the seeds from the cones of silver fir. Against his will, Ondra has to go with the old man to learn that trade. Old experienced Hojgr devotes Ondra to the secrets of this special craft and the beauty of the Beskydy Mountains and gradually the two begin to appreciate each other. Then Hojgr gets seriously injured due to Ondra's carelessness.
