Por Aqui Tudo Bem plot

In the late summer of 1980, Alda and her sister Maria, aged 16 and 17 respectively, arrive in Lisbon to escape the civil war in Angola. They have to survive in a strange city for them. Alda and Maria build a new life from scratch and become women. When the problems continue to pile up and eventually become unbearable, they receive terrible news.
