On the night an exceptionally powerful solar storm hits the Netherlands, the paths of two young women cross. The tenacious ambulance driver Alima and the student Bobje, fleeing behind lies, try to find a way through this apocalyptic night. When the solar storm forces the city and country to a standstill, they suddenly find themselves at each other's mercy.
