Playoff plot

In the late 1970s, basketball coach Max Stoller is proclaimed Israel's national hero when the team Maccabi Tel Aviv becomes European champion under his leadership. It is one of Israel's first and biggest international sports successes. But soon Max is seen as a national traitor when he starts coaching the West German basketball team against all odds. His job is to make this hopeless team also European champions.
