Piscatore 'e Pusilleco plot
Salvatore is a fisherman with a beautiful voice. When Morelli seizes his fishing boat as payment for an old debt, Salvatore is out of work and enlists as a singer in Morelli's small company. His fiancée, Maria, leaves the house because her sister's lover, Walter, annoys her, and she finds a job in the same company, as a seamstress. Morelli falls in love with Maria and sends Salvatore on a journey so he can make advances to Maria, but she refuses. Meanwhile, Walter accuses her of a theft and, although innocent, is sentenced to one year in prison. But Mary is pregnant...
