Pioniere in Ingolstadt plot

A group of soldiers are tasked with building a bridge near a small town. Alma and Berta see the soldiers marching in and dream about the men and relationships. Alma soon understands that the soldiers are only interested in brief sexual contacts and is willing to live up to this. The naive romantic Berta falls in love with the selfish soldier Karl who leads her on.
