Pig plot

A man comes to consciousness in the desert with a hood over his head and his hands tied behind his back. He has no idea who he is or how he got there. In his pocket is a piece of paper with a name: Manny Elder, a janitor in Los Angeles. Collapsing from exhaustion, he is found by a beautiful widow living alone in the desert with her son. Together they drive to Los Angeles to unravel the mystery of his identity. In the city he discovers clues to his existence. Some seem planned, others he discovers by chance. And sometimes the tracks contradict each other or go in different directions. But every time he faces a breakthrough, his quest ends and he wakes up again in the desert, with no memories of what came before.
