Pierre of the Plains plot
"Lovers! Fighers! Romance! Action!"
Moose Hill, Saskatchewan, 1940. Field worker Pierre is attracted to saloon owner Daisy Denton. After Pierre learns of Daisy's plans to marry the lawyer and rival "Jap" Durkin, Pierre, with the help of Daisy's brother Val, ensures that this marriage does not happen. Some time later, Val mistakenly kills a witness of Jap. Jap has Val arrested and he is determined to have him convicted, not so much for killing the witness but also for the humiliation of his canceled marriage. Pierre, Daisy and a few visitors to a campground help Val flee, which results in more complications and another murder.
