Pickup plot

Jan Horak is a courier for the railway company, middle-aged, with hearing loss and also a widower. With his saved money he goes to the nearest town to buy a dog and there he meets the flashy young blonde Betty Horak. Betty gains Jan's trust and she marries him for his savings.
