Perilous Waters plot
Retired millionaire and newspaper publisher Dana Ferris has taken up the fight against gambling. Ferris' activities are directed against the destruction of the gambling mafia, who orders Willie Hunter to kill Ferris. Hunter turns out to have more decency and conscience than Ferris' untrustworthy young wife and Carter Larkin, Ferris' leader of the operation against the gambling mafia.
