Paris, Mon Petit Corps Est Bien Las de Ce Grand Monde plot
Myope ('nearsighted') and Lunettes ('glasses'), both played by Françoise Prenant, live in Paris and experience the same sense of isolation and fear of the outside world. However, their reaction to these feelings is opposite: Myope is a rebel, always seeking to resist the 'external' reality, while Lunettes observes the world and ultimately accepts it for what it is. From the window of their apartment they watch Agathe and Pierrot, two inseparable youngsters who love each other but do not express these feelings. Are they real, or do they just exist in both ladies' imaginations?
