Oud en Nieuw plot

Henry is divorced, works as a window cleaner and drums in a successful band. As an ex-alcoholic, he tries to deal with his past. He seems to be able to do that quite well until at the end of the year so many things come at him at once that he reaches for the bottle again. At first he can hide this nicely from his immediate environment, but soon Henri no longer functions as he should. And of course this also has repercussions on his work and circle of friends. Only his nine-year-old son Boy sees through the problem and tries to help him. But Henri is becoming less and less reliable.
