Otis E. plot

"Can He Still Remain Human In The Outside World?"

After 15 years of solitary confinement, Otis is released from prison. He is placed under the supervision of John Anderson and stays in an institution where he has to re-enter in the evening. Otis tries to start a new life, but soon the temptations of the past resurface. He meets a dancer who cares about him. He doesn't keep to the curfew agreements. Fearing the consequences, he simply decides not to return. During his breakfast he is approached by a seller of Persian carpets, who offers him a job as an assistant in his deliveries.
