Os Inquilinos plot

"The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want"

In a poor community close to a slum in Sao Paulo, hard worker Valter raises his son Diogo and his daughter Fernanda with his wife Lara. Valter works black and at night he studies to one day become a nurse and thus also have a better life. His life is turned upside down when Consuelo, the ex of his neighbor Dimas, rents out her part of their house to a group of thugs. After some loud parties, Lara urges Valter to intervene.
