Onna no Rekishi plot
Nobuko Shimizu is a war widow who lives with her son Koichi and her mother-in-law. She provides for their basic needs by running a beauty salon. Hardworking Nobuko lives happily until her son announces that he wants to marry an itinerant dancer. This causes problems in the family.
