She is on the run from her problems. He is on the run from the police. In a mental institution, Zoe and Jake meet and fall in love. Both feel misunderstood by their parents and treated unfairly by a harsh cold society. They decide to escape from the asylum, but what starts as a reckless adventure quickly becomes a journey of inner awareness, where fear, doubt and vulnerability meet passion, honesty and friendship and where love eventually conquers all.
