O Princípio da Incerteza plot

The lives of four young people are connected in a dramatic way. On a Portuguese estate, the wealthy Antonio grows up together with Jose, the son of housekeeper Celsa. Celsa considers the two boys her own son, but worries about the differences between the two. While Antonio is physically weak and indecisive, Jose is calculating and in danger of going astray. The friendship between the two men is strained when Jose's childhood sweetheart Camila marries Antonio. Jose's partner in dubious business, Vanessa, also begins an affair with Antonio.
