Biography about Nikos Beloyannis, a Greek communist and resistance leader. Born in 1915, he was already imprisoned by the Nationalist regime in the 1930s and handed over to the Nazis during the German occupation in 1941. Beloyannis escaped and co-founded the resistance organization ELAS. After the Greek civil war, he is accused of communist conspiracy and sentenced to death under pressure from the Americans.
