Novemberlicht plot

Film about the despair of an old woman. An impending flood leads to the evacuation of the village where she lives. The woman knows how to hide. She is waiting for a dyke to burst, which must end her life. But there is an unexpected disturber: her granddaughter. She is coming to get her grandmother. A fight to the death ensues. The old woman struggles with ethical and religious questions, fights with herself, with nature and with higher powers. Torn between duty and desire, she makes a decision.
