Not a Stranger plot

Former outcast teacher-with-dark-secret Bob Madden is new to a Chicago neighborhood. He kills his time drinking coffee at a local diner, where he sparks the interest of twelve-year-old boys Ray, Jimmy and Kevin, who think Bob is more than he seems. Jimmy thinks Bob is a mobster and the three boys start following him.
