Noe Beroligende plot
In Norse mythology, the oak and ash are sacred trees. You should leave them alone. Anyone who cuts them down is doomed to live in eternal darkness. Liv is a girl who goes her own way. She is fond of horses and fascinated by the ancient myths. She is convinced that the soul of her grandmother is kept in the old oak tree in the family yard. Liv's father is a forester who works by the river with a horse and raft. But one day everything changes. Father loses his job. He either has to work in the factory, like everyone else in the neighborhood, or he has to sell the plot of land he inherited. To Liv's dismay, her father decides to sell the plot of land on which the old oak tree stands. She devises a plan to save her grandmother's soul and save her father from the eternal darkness.
